Create AI Scout

What are AI scouts?‍

AI scouts enable automated trend and signal scouting by continuously sifting through millions of pieces of data to find, monitor and inform you about the most important developments for your company. 

AI scouts on specific topics provide our specially developed artificial intelligence (SynthAI) with guidance on the context in which data should be viewed and analyzed. For example, one scout can be created for "Alternative materials and sustainability" and another for "New way of work". AI scouts are suitable for strategy and business development, technology-related departments such as research & development (R&D) and product management, as well as for human resources (HR), marketing and sales. You can send one or more AI scouts on a journey for different areas and have them work for you.‍

Step 1: Create AI Scout

1. Open portal.anyidea.ai 
2. Select Foresight from the menu.
3. Click on AI scouts in the sidebar on the left.
4. Click on the AI Scout entry at the bottom left with "+ Add AI Scout"

‍Step2: Generation and selection of keywords

AI scouts can be created for specific topics, interests or departments. The choice of keywords is important for good results.

1. Select a title
2. Enter what you want to scout for (e.g. "What could the future of packaging look like?") 
3. Suitable keywords are generated 
4. Select keywords
5. Optional: Enter your own keywords, making sure that they are in English, in lower case and without special characters. 
6. Give the AI scout a maximum of 5-6 keywords
7. Start the AI Scout

The calculation of the AI scout can take a few minutes. You will be informed by e-mail when it is complete.
The values shown in the AI scout overview are the number of signals per data category that have been prioritized by the AI with an importance of over 75%. 

Automatic & manual recalculation

The AI scouts are automatically reprioritized every week and you are informed of new signals by e-mail.

You can also manually reprioritize your AI Scout in two ways:

1. Click on "Start prioritization" in the AI Scout overview or
2. Click on "Start prioritization" in the detail screen of the AI scout

By clicking on the three dots, you have the option of editing your AI Scout, e.g. to adjust the keywords. When you click on Save, the AI scout is automatically recalculated.
