Communication and engagement

Communication is everything! 

• You think an idea is good, like the idea. 
• You think an idea is good, say so. 
• You don't understand an idea, ask. 
• You have the same idea, make common cause.
• You have a supplemental document or perhaps a best practice example, send it.

Comments

1. Go into a campaign
2. Select the Ideas tab
3. Click on an idea
4. Scroll down in the details

With the comment function in Ideas, you can communicate directly with the submitter of an idea. The idea submitter is automatically notified about new comments via email. The comment function also works if an idea was sent anonymously.

If you are the owner of a campaign, you have the option to communicate privately with the idea creator. Only you and the idea giver will see the messages. Example: If an idea is insufficiently described or something inappropriate was sent.

1. Go into a campaign
2. Select the Ideas tab
3. Click directly on the heart in the overview to like an idea
   

Idea details

1. Go into a campaign
2. Select the Ideas tab
3. Choose an idea
4. Click on the top right the heart
   

Likes from idea contributors show an initial tendency of which ideas are interesting from a participant/user perspective. Encourage likes from participants by calling for them via the comment option in the campaign. E.g. If there are already a lot of ideas: "We received 85 ideas, thank you very much! Show us with a Like which ideas you find particularly interesting!".
