Foresight

This is what awaits you at AnyIdea Foresight:

1. You have access to millions of data, e.g. trends, startups.
2. They identify strategically relevant trends and developments at an early stage. Enabled by our synthesis AI (ongoing) developed over four years.
3. You can make decisions that are data-driven and understandable.
4. Send AI scouts on the road and let them scout for you. This way, you continuously receive company-specific updates on relevant developments, completely automated.

To get you started in our Foresight module, we've put together a simple sequence that gives you an overview of our key features:

1. review and inform trends & signals "manually

In the beginning, we recommend reviewing the Macro Trends without AI prioritization. To do this, click on the Trends tab in the Foresight main menu on the left.

2. mark interesting macro trends as relevant

Use the star icon to mark trends that are relevant to you even before the AI Scout prioritization. To get additional perspectives, we recommend adding other colleagues as managers or admins.

3. create AI scout

AI scouts can be created on specific topics, interests or departments. They search millions of data and show you the most relevant trends, signals and developments. How to create an AI Scout:

1. Go to Foresight in the main menu
2. Click on the AI Scouts icon
3. Enter your basic data
4. Click Add AI Scout
5. Select a title and enter appropriate keywords
6. Click Save

The calculation of the results may take a few minutes.

Please note at KI-Scout keywords

• English words only 
• No more than 2 words per keyword
• Maximum 10 keywords
• Thematically appropriate words
• No abbreviations like "DACH
• No special characters like "-;"

4. compare AI results

At last, select the desired AI scout (here: Circular Economy) and compare the AI prio with the already relevant marked macro trends.

• Does the AI find trends important that have not been marked as relevant?
• What do Kolleg:Innen find relevant, but the AI does not?

The signals listed in the macro trends such as micro trends and startups can serve as orientation and assistance. They show existing use cases, solutions or companies that are also prioritized by AI!

5. evaluate relevant macro trends

In order to achieve meaningful results, it is important that several stakeholders provide their assessment. This is how you get to the trend evaluation: 

1. Go to a relevant marked macro trend
2. Under Details you can click the Evaluate Trend button
3. Evaluate the trend using the sliders

So that your rating is not influenced, the ratings of other users will be shown to you only after your own.

• 1st criterion: Competence
  Do we have competence in the company?
• 2nd criterion: Potential
  What is the potential of the macro trend?
• 3rd criterion: Time to Impact
  When will the trend become relevant for our company on the market?
  

6. trend portfolio

To get this view, switch from the Macro Trend view to the Portfolio view.

Recommendations for action in the trend portfolio

Determine which trends to follow up on and how.

Invest

Clearly, these trends are of the utmost importance!

Remove/Save

These trends must not be neglected. If a trend is found here, it is either a matter of exploiting potential with the help of partnerships, building up your own expertise or securing competencies. 

De-Invest

These trends are not currently a top priority for the Company, but should continue to be monitored.
